The Committee on Race and Diversity’s mission is to foster better relations among diverse racial and cultural groups and to help the community realize the benefits of its cultural and racial diversity. Its Grants Program supports programs and activities that promote multicultural understanding and positive race relations within the MIT community. The proposal process is open to faculty, students, and staff.
CRD grant proposals are organized along five core themes:
1. Career Development (Professional/Scholar
2. Collaborative Immersion
3. Community Based Inititiatives
4. Expanding Outlooks (Social/Political/Cultural)
5. Leading Outward
