Exit Zero Documentary Screening and Discussion

Exit Zero Documentary Screening and Discussion

February 16, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Wong Auditorium, E51-115.

The Screening and Discussion will take place at the Wong Auditorium, E51-115.

Exit Zero, written and directed by MIT cultural anthropologist Christine Walley and Chris Boebel, is a feature-length documentary film that tells a personal story of the lasting social and environmental impacts of “deindustrialization” and the key role it has played in expanding class inequalities in the United States.

In the wake of the 2016 presidential election, it is clear that there are major long term economic challenges affecting the American working class. Exit 0 provides unusual insight into these challenges, necessary for any attempt to heal what ails America.

The screening will be followed by a discussion.

This event is the first in the Mens et Manus America series, which addresses social, political, and economic challenges in the US.

Sponsored by the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences and the Sloan School of Management. RSVP via SloanGroups.
