1. Accessing Resources at MIT (ARM) Coalition 

  • Populations Served: Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students
  • Office response: Contact arm-coalition@mit.edu and someone will contact you within 24 hours. Visit the ARM website for additional details.
  • Office resources: Apply for graduate student short-term hardship fund or for undergraduate student emergency support fund.

2. Student Financial Services (SFS)

  • Populations Served: Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, Postdocs
  • Office Response: The Student Financial Services Office (SFS) has moved online, so no walk-in appointments are possible at the moment. SFS does not currently have the ability to post physical check payments, though they are working to resolve this. SFS is available via email, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Office Resources: SFS staff are utilizing Zoom and Webex for meetings with MIT students and their parents. In addition, SFS staff have found ways to provide documentation electronically, which hadn't been possible in the past (ex. emailing 1098-Ts). SFS is still exploring resources to best support students virtually.

3. TechMart

  • Populations Served: Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students
  • Office Response: TechMart  has moved to the Flowers Dining Room in Maseeh Hall. Hours are 9am-3pm, Monday through Friday. Credit cards, debit cards, TechCASH, and cash are accepted.
