Hapa is a Hawaiian word for multiracial (mainly Asian and/or Pacific Islander ancestry) individuals. Kip Fulbeck created the 'Hapa Project' exploring multiracial identity in 2001, traveling throughout the USA and photographing over 1200 volunteer who self-identified as Hapa.

During this exceptional talk, Professor Fulbeck will talk about his Hapa Project and what it means to be multiracial and going abroad.
